2003 A/W BOILED WOOL TURTLENECK WITH FRYED NECKLINE BY MISS DEANNA
One of the most acclaimed and interesting output of Margiela practice was his long-lasting collaboration (until 2003 A/W) with Deanna Ferretti Veroni, who founded the esteemed Italian knitwear company Miss Deanna. The close collaboration between the designer and the producer allowed to create very limited collection of pieces, in highest fabrication, with special treatment and experimental cuts.
This high-neck with abstract, fryed neckline is one of the "cult" items in Margiela menswear oeuvre regarding knitting. Crafted from specially treated, boiled wool. Raglan sleeve, "T" construction, with beautiful detailing - notice how the diagonal arm pit seam melts with collar.
Size L, best for size IT50/L or size IT48/M, can also fit size IT44/XS as oversized item.
Made in Italy. Produced by Miss Deanna. Excellent, close to dead-stock, condition.
