2006 "complice" autumn/winter in our opinion is one of the highlight seasons in Veronique Branquinho history, where she presented "his and hers" version of the same garments. "I'm a diehard romantic," said Véronique Branquinho as she reflected on the logic behind the presentation.
Veronique Branquinho looked upon men's fashion as a selection of indispensable evergreens worn by realistic men, rather than focusing on idols, muses or remote stars. Due to her subtle approach to men’s wear, her vision can be described as nonchalant dressiness with a conceptual themes, and highest attention to detail, construction and fabrication. Branquinho knitwear is our beloved part of her designs. Crafted in Belgium from finest wool yarns, Veronique was known for her experiments with patterns and knitting techniques. Seen here, two-tone basketwave stitching.
