We are true admirers of Margiela iterations of German Army Trainer shoes, starting from the graffiti and the paint splatter versions from adequately 2002 and 2004, through a few spectacular models from summer 2008 season such as ones crafted from stripped satin fabric, inspired by courier company logos. The model seen below, it's not a Replica version of the sneakers, but rather a MMM interpretation of them. This model was only produced during the season of 2006 A/W and is among the most rare editions of MMM sneakers.
We were under big impression while examining the quality of materials used during the production of the shoes - they crafted from softest suede calf leather and translucent, soft gum sole - they weight approximately half of the modern days Maison Margiela trainers. The leather quality and color combination is similar to the grey "aged" GATS from the same collection.
