2007 A/W TWILL WOOL TROUSERS WITH CORDUROY INSERTS
Veronique Branquinho looked upon men's fashion as a selection of indispensable evergreens worn by realistic men, rather than focusing on idols, muses or remote stars. Due to her subtle approach to men’s wear, her vision can be described as nonchalant dressiness with a conceptual themes, and highest attention to detail, construction and fabrication.
One of the most impressive iterations of her classic cut of mens' trousers in our opinion is this Branquinho piece, crafted from substantial twill wool fabric in black and complemented with softest corduroy inserts around waist which resembles cummerbund, part of the black tie outfit.
As Veronique is mostly known for her perfect tailoring of men's trousers, this pair is no exception -- slightly flared form is balanced with elongated inseam and fitting of the upper leg. Highly recommended item. Note the belt loop detail on the right side!
Excellent condition (fabric is slightly destroyed around the bottom of the one leg, see picture. Not visible from the distance).
