2003 S/S STONE-WASHED HALF-RAGLAN SLEEVE JUMPER BY MISS DEANNA
One of the most acclaimed and interesting output of Margiela practice was his long-lasting collaboration (until 2003 A/W) with Deanna Ferretti Veroni, who founded the esteemed Italian knitwear company Miss Deanna. The close collaboration between the designer and the producer allowed to create very limited collection of pieces, in highest fabrication, with special treatment and experimental cuts.
This simple jumper from menswear summer collection of 2003, after closer inspection, shows many interesting details such as half-raglan sleeve construction, beautifully finished seams, and slightly irregular stone-washed "vintage" treatment of "ice" cotton . The cut is rather loose with type of légère silhouette. Crafted from naturally overdyed cotton. Those items are extremely rare and sought after.
Size L. Fit is fitted, it will work best as size EU48/M or even EU46/S (pit to pit is around 52cm).
Made in Italy. Produced by Miss Deanna. Very good condition.
